| hogs have to be fed a all vegetable diet, corn/sbm and premix, no antibiotics, no farrowing crates, access to outdoors. that is a tall order in todays disease infested hog environment. im nothing special, but ive lately gotten a low of $180/hd to around $230/hd for 300lb hog. i would doubt i have over $150/hd in them (sold on grade/yield quality premiums) . so it is possible, but a outbreak of prrs, ect could upset the apple cart. | |
