| tariffs are a necessary tool, if the country is running trade deficits you have to quit digging the hole deeper. i dont know how many of the tariffs that the current white house occupant has rescinded from the previous administration, but china certainly hasnt lined up to buy soybeans, theyll buy from the us as a last resort, theres no need to do them any favors. the pro trade deficit crowd i wish would riddle me this, what would we have to do to get them to buy us beans for $1.50 higher than brazil? hand over taiwan? no, until proven otherwise, we have more of a `brazil problem`. | |
