yes, i dont see why you couldnt make a good living off 80, good, paid for acres. should raise 18,000 bu of corn and farrow/finish 1200 niche marketed hogs, the hogs would have a $50/hd profit= $60,000 the corn raised on an <80 should net + $30,000 total $90,000/yr, plus you could fly on cover crops and background some 800 pounders over winter. should be enough dollar bills to go to hootie bars in your spare time :-) | |
