Yes, I’m positive we’d survive.
And I’m sorry if I eluded to the farmers hurting.
The 500 plus factory jobs, and all the supporting businesses would be gone.
Our little towns in western Renville county would dry up very fast.
Our county has shrunk about 60% since the hay days of the 1960s............when our area was full of irrigation water and sugar beets. The water is about 3/4 gone now, and the sugar beets vanished decades ago.
