As a farmer, we are predisposed to want to own productive farmground. I think change of attitude has happened with outside investors purchasing or having serious interest in purchasing dirt. Before the 2000's investors where more focused on roi. It seems that is less important today than 10 or 15 years ago. Maybe that's a local thing and less likely in other areas.
Has the game changed?
