I've noticed the women get bigger as they get older in the Amish communities as well. Of course they have had 6+ children by then and their communities are doing more physical labor than the "English" but on the other hand they are using a lot of the same food ingredients we are (Crisco, Seed Oils). But I would say that things like soda is more of a treat than many households with a couple 12 packs sitting in the fridge on the porch.
