If this isn't a perimeter fence I would consider a 1 wire line. It is amazing how a old wire will some how grow it seems and falling limbs can be a problem, I have a stretch of creek fence it does take almost constant supervision. The other option is let it go not worth the trouble and certainly not cost effective
