Subject: Best way to tear out old buried wovenwire

West Central Illinois
No access to a skidsteer or any nice equipment like that, anybody know any tricks to rip out ancient woven wire in the timber? Not a huge stretch is like this maybe only 250 yd. Terrain is steep wouldn't even get my 4 wheeler in here without tipping sideways.

Plan is to fence off this 15 acre patch of timber so cattle can't get in it except for short 1 or 2 day flash grazes per EQIP. This stretch of fence however is on my dime so no restrictions there. Will probably go with timeless pvc posts and 2 hi tensile wires.

Is there any better way of getting this out of here other than cutting each piece with wire cutters?
