just pull out what you can when the ground is soft and dispose of it the rest will have to rust away over time.


Worst thing is "here" it won't rust away over any of our lifetimes. We get into some that's 70+ years old and other than being brittle it looks like the day it was put up. That old stuff must be made out of spring steel, a good sidecutter barely cuts the stuff.

There is some in a pen of ours that the previous owners thought they could stop the bulls from digging by burying rolls of netting wire. We started to dig it out and it became a bigger mess than we could handle without major excavation. We ended up leaving it and rocking/gravel over top to hopefully seal it forever.
