Northeast Missouri | Cowpeas I had this year didn't get big and viney...but again, it may have been the year. I think there are some varieties that don't vine much--they just get tall and fall over. But the problem is: many seed sources available in my area don't even know what variety they're selling...they're just "cowpeas", so at this point it can be hard to get exactly what you want.
