Yeah, I know...and it's completely OK. Communicating in a message thread is *almost* like a conversation, but not quite (the written word is a poor substitute for face to face communication) ...we don't always know how our comments will be taken, or who will think they are directed at them.

I just wanted to be sure you knew that low pop'ns aren't the norm in 60-inch rows..

Is it muddy around Leesburg? We finally got a big fall rain here (1.5"). It had been many weeks since we got any significant rain.. I enjoyed getting a lot more "dry weather" jobs done but was beginning to worry that subsoil moisture and pond levels wouldn't get through the winter in very good shape. (Soil tests taken just a week ago yielded dry dirt, and had to be taken with a tile spade because the probe wouldn't go into the ground.)
