| Couldn't agree more. I've been trying to teach my kids some of the older things and making sure they understand a manual transmission. At the same time some of the old skills are no longer needed unless the world implodes and we're back to living in the stone age. Who knows how to knap an arrowhead out of rock or the best wood for a bow? Not to mention what to use for a bowstring (I think Indians used the sinew/tendons from a deers backstraps). | |
