| For sure. Our personal skills and abilities decline as we let other people or things do our jobs for us. I see it everyday in myself.
We eagerly reduce ourselves to little robots waiting for the next command/input, and let our instincts and skills erode away.
While so many of the advancements are quite nice, they also breed incompetence and dependence.
It seems that currently - nearly everything in our lives is geared to produce dependents that can be controlled and manipulated at every turn. | |
