At the risk of sounding dumb, and recall that I am an engineer by training, not a financier, is that a problem for a bank if the examiners are crying foul?  Also, will the bank down the street finance a guy who is losing money and has negative working capital?  Don’t they also have examiners?

I am all for optimism and understanding the business cycle, but reality seems to be getting in the way in this story.
