NW Washington | Unless the house has some significant value to you or your family I would tear is down and start over. Fixing and upgrading old houses is an endless battle. The cost of heating and cooling an old house is usually an issue too and very hard to fix unless you take it down to the studs.
Moving a nice house in might work, but beware of all the pit falls, and a 60' house is fifty years old now too.
I would really look hard at building something you want or buying a modular home. | |
