We have seen the same thing between the elevator & processor we haul to, usually between 1/2 - 1 point difference. Both use pnematic probes that have several openings along the side. Personally, I don't find that so unusuall but it can be frustrating knowing you may be paying extra drying & shrink. I have seen those kind of differences at the same elevator using the same sample. Seldom will they get identical readings.
