I bought an old Allis Chalmers forklift last spring.  We'd been wanting one a long time, but had no luck in finding one to do what we wanted.  We needed to be able to get outside and handle "Pro-boxes".  Older gentleman had been selling outdoor wood furnaces and decided to quit.  This one has dual front wheels and an 11,000 pound capacity.  Gave $5000 for it.

I've kicked myself repeatedly this fall.  Local consignment sale had a 1977 Yale, I think it was 4-5000 pound capacity, maybe more.  Pneumatic tires, very good looking machine with an enclosed cab.  Brought $3000 and I let it go.  If I hadn't already bought the AC it would have came home with me or sold for a whole lot more.
