Galahad, Alberta | Local farmer here got an overload ticket from the countie mountie. $1000.00. So he heard that the county has a rule that they are to provide an adequate approach into each 1/4 from the main road along it. He checked with the county, they looked at their map and said yep, we have no record of an approach for that quarter, go get one put in, and send us the bill. The approach,nice and wide, culvert and a bit of gravel, was on the back side of his home half. Will probably never see any equipment. The bill to the county was $1000.00!
