Pittstown, NJ | Of course in Brazilton, KS, this is probably a non-issue, but here . . . the ditch along a county road belongs to the county. You as a property owner (or renter) can't just drop a pipe in there or start shoving around gravel to make an entrance wider. You need county approval, and as you probably can guess, the local government is a pain to deal with on little things like culvert pipes. So we over-populated, over-regulated easterners often are forced to make our machinery fit the area we farm instead of the other way around. | |
