| Nucor is located near Crawfordsville, IN on Hwy 32. I have several friends that work there. Bob, I'm not sure of the name of the plant at Pittsboro but it's not Nucor unless they have recently taken it over. The Pittsboro plant has had several owners, went brankrupt before it was ever completed.
BTW, Jeff was originally from California but grew up in Pittsboro. The last couple years I see he has started calling CA home.. I'm not sure if he still owns it but he did have a house on the north side of !-74 across from the steel plant that he stayed in when he was in town for the Brickyard. House is pretty run down now so I wouldn't be surprised if he no longer owns it.
