For what it is worth, when I did mine the drill worked OK. If they wanted to spin an needle nose vise grip on the little tit underneath held them long enough to buzz thru. When we went back together we used a very thin bead of silicone initially and really plastered the joint from the inside when done. I used little machine screws instead of rivets for reassembly. When you're taking them apart you'd swear the silicone was enough to hold 'em w/o rivets or screws.
