Subject: Spray just before flowering

I've read research that concluded if one can get the final app. of RU on before the plants start to flower and still get season long weed control spraying that early, yield loss will be very little regardless of boom width and number of wheels the beans got ran over by. I believe the theory was that the neighbors of the deceased soybean plants can compensate greatly for the loss of the run-overs as long as flowering hasn't started yet. Flowering around here usually starts about June 20th, but for NV it may be a little different. The timing of flowering is based on the length of daylight.
