Subject: Re: Going to Try some Soybeans

Our last frost in the spring is ually around april 25th or so. and first frost in the fall uslly happends around the end of Sept. I have been planting 115-120 day corn. As far as mositure goes I can control that, giving crops needed water when needed. Yes they will be RU beans. How do you use a ground rig to spray RU on solid seeded beans? Dont you knock a lot of them down doing that? Isnt the seed already innoculated when it comes in a bag? I dont have a row crop header but do have a direct cut (for grain) that I will be using. Our feilds are perfectly flat (lazer finish) so should be able to hold the header almost on the ground...What is the advanage to haveing the canapy shade over the rows if RU is used? Does it need to be sprayed twice like in corn? I will be planting into fresh clean soil so depth can be where ever it needs to be.....How many seeds are in a bag? or does that vary?
