Subject: Going to Try some Soybeans

Soybeans have never been grown here in the low humity state of Nevada that I know of. I want to try some. Only a 5-10 ac feild is all but need some advice from those of you that have the experence. I know it has a lot to do with your location as far as what "zone" of seed to plant. (I am 60 miles east of Reno) We also flood irragate here but one thing Im not sure about is the low humity we have here, (maybe a avg of 20%) for most of the growing season, with day time humity of less then 10%. I can either plant them in 30 in rows or drill them in, witch is better? I will be putting them in a feild that had corn last year. Any help would be appriated. Do you think they will work? What problems do you think I will run into doing this?.......
