| We run older equipment (JD-8820 T2, JD-4840, etc.) and it does what we need it to do. It's paid for and if a bad year happens, we don't worry about those high equipment payments. We just make sure that if something needs to be fixed or replaced, it's done. We don't cut corners. Repairs cost less than a new piece of machinery. We don't have to farm thousands and thousands of acres to pay for some of this new stuff. Not knocking anyone that has new, but this works for us and we quit when it gets dark. | |
