| I worked for the ISU breeding program back in the early 90's. Pioneer gained access to this material by being the only company that answered the call for private funding to further this research. I believe as a result of this Pioneer retained sole rights to market these products. For all I know, through the agreement Pioneer might have ownership of the discovered material. Walt Fehr and ISU could still be the parties that patented these lines but not have sole or any ownership of the material. | |
