South Central Kansas, Harper County | Told a local mechanic during lunch today, about our feeding problem. He suggested searching the truck salvage yards for a "Browning 2 speed underdrive". Might be like one of the posters above, who suggested something similar. This mechanic said no big problem installing, just have to shorten drive shaft, and put a lever or something through the floor. Shift it into low for feeding, and then into high for road use. Might have to do some more reading on the topic. |
