We have a bigger feedtruck, but with an Allison too. The main reason they like to put TMR mixers on automatic trucks is so you can't ride the clutch (did that much more than I like to admit when we had a tractor TMR mixer). Ours discharges pretty fast, but if you want to put out a lot, we just back up again. Good controls help a lot. When emptying out I sometimes let it coast in neutral and rev the engine up to spin the last bit off the augers.
