I looked into making the 653 have the same low/low ratio in reverse as it has in "1", but it doesn't seem to be possible. That would be a big help on some of our bunks. Others it's not too bad, we're wanting to evenly spread the feed along 200' runs, so either put out in low or low/low going forward and then back up to put out the last little bit needed, but spread it along a good distance.

And I hate having to go all the way from the bottom of the shifter to the top every time we want to back up while feeding. As you have noticed the transmission won't start out in the low/low unless you shift it down there.
