There is a "traditional" dairy farm in Ontario, showing off at an advertised open house. Century - old big red bank barn, milking 50 cows tiestall, and decided to go for automation without building a new facility. Shoe-horned a robot into the basement, along with free-stall rows complete with electric alley-scrapers. Yet from the outside you would never know how modern a set-up it is. I applaud the farmer for taking a daring yet pragmatic leap into the future.
