SW MN | I don't remember saying everyone should jump in and get rich. I'm fully aware that every industry has its lean times, also fully aware that these margins in grain and beef won't last. Just surprised that with all the attention that the dairy industry is getting as far as negative margins, that the numbers I referenced show positive margins on AVERAGE 16 out of the last 17 years. Yeah, sometimes margins might be slim, but beats digging out of a net loss year. Congratulations on great management of a large, diversified operation, you obviously have what it takes to be sustainable into the future. | |
