Who are these 40-50 cow guys anyhow? They won't be around soon. Can' t make it on that few cows.
i beg to differ i know a lot of guys milking 40-100 cows and can make milk cheaper than the big dairies. most of the big dairies are so far into debt the banks can't afford to let them go out do to they'd loss money and the value of dairy assets would drop drastically. |
