Kaukauna WI | PeteMN, how familiar are you with dairy? Sounds like not very. If so, what are you doing on here telling dairymen how to dairy?
Cows need looking-after 24/7. Milking is BY FAR the easiest part. Also the least labor-cost goes into milking. If you never farmed, you will never understand........Managers cost money. Milkers do not. We can hire people to milk our cows for cheap. We cannot hire managers to manager while we are away.
Who are these 40-50 cow guys anyhow? They won't be around soon. Can' t make it on that few cows. | |
