Stratton, Ontario, Canada | I've always been lead to believe that 10,000 bales is the broken-in point for balers. My 605C has about 30,000 through it and is only used as a spare nowadays. I bought a 1999 New Idea 4665 (hardcore) with 4800 bales through it last year for $6,000.00. A steal of a deal. Had to pull it 250 miles with the truck, but it was worth it. An NH 688 was on my list, but they are still worth too much to find a good deal on one. They are the best NH baler, and one of the best balers period. Many, many custom hay guys love those balers. |
