So. IL | Well, im in the planning statge for a new house as well(2340 sq. ft). A basment is going to cost about 16k, thats me doing all the work. It will be about 35k if I hired it. I got a bid on the materials. $49,400 with sales tax included. What was not included was cabnets, flooring, heat/ac, insulation, garage doors. Everything else was included. Im going to do 95% of it myself, and im planning on being in the 130-140K range. I believe $50-60 a square foot can be had if you do it yourself. | |
