Texas Panhandle
My wife and I got married in June, 2009. She's an optometrist in the nearby town. We had our first child last July, and she went back to work part-time in October. She gets to set her own schedule and it is really flexible if she needs off. It is really nice. What I really wanted to tell you was about our friend who watches our daughter during the week while my wife works. She was a coach at one of the Jr. Highs in town. Her husband works at a bank and farms on the side. They had a little girl back in spring '09 and she is now a stay-at-home mom who only watches our daughter for us.

I don't know if you have any kids or what your situation is, but that might be a source of some extra income while you stay at home.
