Rough numbers.
1500 pound cow 3% of body weight in feed /day =45 #
45 # /day x365 =16425 # x2.5=41,062.5 # / 1800 (weight of a good hay bale) = 22.81 bales / acre. NOT including any waste factor.
You are able to do this???
