would be with Colorado State University, ie. CSU, at Ft. Collins..

Western Beef Expo itself should have a website...don't know how far back they keep data

Also the Meat Animal Research Center at Clay Center, Nebraska has done a ton of studies on every aspect of the subjects we're discussing. That data is ALL public and online too.

Regarding Piedmontese cross and other High Yield cattle MARC ran several hundred of those ( conception thru harvest data ) for a 15 year span.

Irregardless Roy, if the cattle you speak of were way fat, even if the DP held together your Net Yield generally tanks.

In general, higher DP cattle are also the better yield grade cattle.
Lower DP cattle will be Your YG 4's etc.
