I would guess he is talking hanging weight price. My processor is charging .43 per pound haning with $40 kill fee per animal. And it is a USDA inspected site. So with processing I'm at about $2.30 hanging. I would like to go up .10 to .20 cents but fear losing customers.

Let me know if my figures are wrong 1200 pound steer will hang at 750. So 1200x.95=$1140 live weight 750x1.8=$1350 this would be $210 over market.
