Your pretty close on that. Don't sell very many but have enough customers to take 5 or 6 to the Processing Plant every year. Graze them on wheat all winter and suppliment that with Milo and cotton seed. I take them off of wheat on March 15, and them put them on hay only for a couple of weeks. Process them at 850 to 900 lbs. I deliver them to the processors and charge .10 over what I got for the others that I ran thru the sale barn. Hang weight is generally 55 to 60%. Customer pays processing on hanging weight. This year the live weight ran 1.08 and the processing fees were .46 on the hanging weight, cut and wrapped and 18.00 kill charge
