Midwest | Just switched to a different church. I belonged to the other one 57 years. Without going into details It was just time to move on. It just boils down to one thing. Can you spiritually grow in the church envirment. Sometimes small churchs can be controlled by certain familys and can bury the place in controlling politics. You just cannot have distractions to your spiritual growth. A good church needs to be financially stable, have a good outreach program, have a well done sunday service, and not be internally politically controlled by dominating manipulating people. If the church has demands on you beyond your spiritual journey it is probably time to say adios. | |
