| Well said Mrs F. I have attended the same church all of my 48 years. For many years in my 30's I was the youngest member. Now we do have a few younger members. The congregation is a fraction of the size it once was, and like many churches the younger generation has moved on or simply doesn't care.
With about 7 households membership we still have a pastor who comes on regular schedule each week and we financially support ourselves. I can see the day coming when the diocese will shut us down, so for now we better appreciate and support our small church community. | |
