I bought a '69 Torino GT, 2 years old, when I was 15. Found it at the local Ford dealer, and had the money, so Dad let me get it.

He was a Ford lover, and figured that he had taught me well.

The hood scoop said "390," but we found out later, when I had the heads off that it was a 428 CJ. (Just what a teenager needs for a first car!!)

It looked just like this one when I got it...

 I spent almost every dollar I had at the speed shop. Headers, aluminum 5-slots, Hijackers,

cam, carb, intake, & more, but still couldn't outrun the small-block Chevys.

Jumped ship, and have had Bowties ever since.

I wish I could give Dad a ride in the Camaros. I know that he would be impressed!
