1969 Dodge Cornet, 383ci 4-barrel carb brother-in-law bought it new. Sold it to my brother for first car at about 85k miles. He drove (beat) it for a year then got given to me as my first car at about 97k. I drove (babied HAHA) it til it had 117k and then we junked it. It would do 90mph in 1/4 mile and would bury the needle in no time flat. (they went to 120 then) One day a friend and I were in a parking lot on a sheet of ice I decided to punch it and let her spin, when the speedo started going around the second time it would float the valves out, drop down to about 100 mph then rev back up and float the valves out again. Did that several times (Was I stupid or what) Never had any problems engine or tranny good car.
