NEMO | Some time ago I read a post somewhere about first vehicles and found it very interesting. My first car was a '73 Chevelle SS. The car was purchased by my Aunt right off the Chevrolet dealer's showroom. She drove it untill 1980 and sold it to my Dad. It had 86,000 miles on it then. When I graduated form High School in 1981, Dad handed over the keys for my graduation present. I drove it during the college years and into what I call my "roaring twenties". After a couple of engine transplants, a transmission transplant and enough rubber replacement to boost the stock in Good Year, I parked it in 1986. I still have it today, sitting in my shed patiently awaiting restoration. What was your first vehicle? | |
