Embarrass WI | First car I had to drive was a family hand-me-down 1965 Buick LeSabre 4 door hardtop. That thing took a licking and kept on ticking. One evening I fell asleep on the way home and took out a telephone pole with it. Next car I had to buy, it was a 69 Dodge Polara 2 door, looked like it was 25 feet long. 383 2 barrel, floor shift auto. Wasn't cool enough, 6 months later I bought a 1971 Plymouth RoadRunner that a backyard bodyman had rebuilt from a wreck. It wasn't all that fast, but it was flashy and loud, got a fistful of tickets and got rid of it. | |
