MN | Farm around four of them on land owned by close relatives (Mrs Geargrinder). My advice is to not do it. If we knew now what we didn't know before construction, we would have not had turbines. The underground wire and crane passes ground is never the same due to compaction and disturbed ground. The ground around the turbines is not the same - very disturbed. Pulled out fences but didn't put back and conservation terraces were not put back the same as before. Promises about the wind rights made by the land agent aren't followed through (land dropped from payments) - this year's check down by a fairly significant percentage. Farming around the turbines is a pain and crop production is down where the turbine land was disturbed. Not worth it.
