Are you wanting to quit farming. Because whether it is wind or solar you are selling your rights to your land forever. If you say no and they are building in your area there is a pretty good chance their next offer will be for more. They are trying a wind farm in my area but a couple big time landowners said no so it has quieted down at least for now. I know of one for sure that said no and the salesman then went and tried talking to just graduated son to get him to go along in sales process to parent. I personally think that's pretty shady or crooked, but they do not care.
