Saronville NE | Very little. Took kids to ill for few days after Christmas first time we had gone anywhere since 2017. Have rode SxSs in black hills twice. Pry go back eventually. Otherwise grand canyon is on list and Yellowstone.
Overall I don't enjoy being gone over a day or two. All I can think about is what I should be doing at home. And like previous poster said. With livestock and no hired man. It's very hard to find someone to do chores etc while gone. So lots of work ahead and lots of catch-up after and expensive to find someone to do them while gone. Takes most of enjoyment out of going.
But I've never been one who sits still well. I don't like to fly. Large bodies of water send my anxiety thru the roof. So not much to enjoying and relaxing along those lines. And I enjoy my own bed at night so can sleep well. One thing kids said when gone. They were ready to be home for own bed. | |
