| My parents never retired they just got to the point where they would leave whenever they wanted to go somewhere. They would go to Florida for a month, Alaska for two weeks during the summer, Mexico, Canada, Caribbean. They went all over. I travelled a lot when so was in my twenties. I had a friend who lived on St Kitts. I would hop from island to island using airline bump vouchers along the way. I ended up on some small islands that I didn't know existed. Do the same heading home. I've been to all the lower 48. We take the kids on two or three trips a year. My plan is to take them to Africa before they are all out of school. | |
